Background

Monastery Entertainment  is Urban Monks Music’s community interest company, specialising in music production education and sound engineering programmes.

Led by Urban, a working producer/engineer with a proven teaching record.  The BPM Project is fully registered and DBS-checked, delivering safe, professional provision across schools, colleges, youth services and community spaces.

Urban designs, sets up and launches programmes end-to-end, from curriculum planning to delivery and evaluation.

What We Do

We teach real-world studio practice: signal flow and gain staging, recording chains and mic technique, session management, mixing for translation, and release-ready workflow.

Programmes run as short courses, intensives, after-school/holiday projects, or targeted 1:1 mentoring, with clear learning outcomes and progression pathways for young people and adult learners.

We are also launching online training programmes and digital courses in 2026.

Who We Work With

The BPM Project partners with education providers and community organisations to deliver practical, outcome-driven music training. All safeguarding, insurance and risk assessments are in place.
